Abstract

Imam Ahmad Raza (R.H) a Suuni scholar of 19th century authored title name in Arabic language. This multiple volume book has been translated in Persian and Urdu. It gained worldwide popularity and proved itself a trend setter. Imam Ahmad Raza created in this book an index which was not familiar to that era and he eradicated all kinds of mistakes. He answered to modern fiqh issues by ijtihad following hanafi school of thought. This esteemed book provided extensive research and answers to questions until other fatawas of that time. Its manner of inference, explanation of concepts is unique not to be found elsewhere. Imam sahib supported Hanafi school with proof-text. It is a matter of great interest that Questions for religious guidance came from Africa, America, Iraq, Suadi Arabia and entire Subcontinent.
